It has vibrant green and yellow colors and will light up any room.  If you are on the Peter Lik site it is 150cm and currently retailing for over $7,500.  We only had it up for 3 years and then have had it professionally boxed since. I crawled on my hands and knees to get under the branches to give me a unique perspective – looking up through the tree branches. I chose a 28mm lens to give me as much reach as possible. I wanted all the branches to just reach out. Overcast skies were critical for this shot, as I needed soft even lighting. This was the fifth morning in a row back to this tree. Now was the time to shoot. I also needed conditions to be dead calm critical to capture the depth of the shot.\n\nThis Hemlock had so much elaborate tree branches and the tree itself really told a story. The symmetry of the tree caught my eye as I shot it from many different angles. I chose this frame and composition for the gallery. The twists and turns of all the branches reaching out to touch the sky.\n\nThere is something so simplistic and so powerful about this stunning tree.
